Adams attended Okeechobee High School in Okeechobee, Florida and played college baseball at Florida SouthWestern State College and Jacksonville University. He was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 13th round of the 2022 MLB draft.[1]

Adams signed with the White Sox and made his professional debut with the Arizona Complex League White Sox. He pitched 2023 with the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, Winston-Salem Dash and Birmingham Barons and started 2024 with Birmingham.[2]

Eric Adler

Adler attended Rockledge High School in Rockledge, Florida, and played college baseball at Wake Forest University. During the summer of 2021, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Bourne Braves.[3][4] He was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the sixth round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft and signed with the team.[5]

Adler made his professional debut with the Arizona League White Sox and also played with the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, appearing in six games between both teams. He split the 2023 season between Kannapolis and the Winston-Salem Dash; over 28 relief appearances for the season, Adler posted a 2–0 record with a 2.87 ERA and 42 strikeouts. He returned to Winston-Salem and was promoted to the Birmingham Barons in early May, with whom he ended the season.[6] Over forty relief appearances between the two teams, Adler went 3–2 with a 3.15 ERA and 52 strikeouts over forty innings.[7] After the season, he was selected to play in the Arizona Fall League for the Glendale Desert Dogs.[8]

Caleb Bonemer

Caleb Francis Bonemer (born October 5, 2005) is an American professional baseball shortstop in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Bonemer attended Okemos High School in Okemos, Michigan.[9] He was named the Michigan Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year in both his junior and senior seasons.[10][11] Bonemer was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the second round of the 2024 Major League Baseball draft.[12][13][14]

Bonemer signed with the White Sox and made his professional debut in 2025 with the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers.[15]

Juan Carela

Juan Daniel Carela (born December 15, 2001) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Carela signed with the New York Yankees as an international free agent on July 2, 2018. He split 2019 between the Dominican Summer League Yankees and rookie-level Gulf Coast League Yankees, struggling to an 0–8 record and 7.59 ERA over 12 games. Carela did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[16]

Carela returned to action in 2021 with the rookie-level Florida Complex League Yankees and Single-A Tampa Tarpons. In 12 games (11 starts) split between the two affiliates, he accumulated a 2–2 record and 6.38 ERA with 49 strikeouts across 42+13 innings of work.[17] Carela split 2022 between Tampa and the High-A Hudson Valley Renegades, accumulating an 8–6 record and 4.21 ERA with 131 strikeouts in 107 innings pitched across 23 games (21 starts).[18] Carela began the 2023 campaign with Hudson Valley, logging a 2–4 record and 3.67 ERA with 109 strikeouts across 17 appearances (16 starts).[19]

On August 1, 2023, the Yankees traded Carela to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for Keynan Middleton.[20] He made 6 starts for the High-A Winston-Salem Dash down the stretch, posting a 1–3 record and 3.34 ERA with 27 strikeouts across 32+13 innings pitched.

Carela split the 2024 campaign between Winston-Salem and the Double–A Birmingham Barons, compiling a 7–7 record and 3.71 ERA with 114 strikeouts across 106+23 innings pitched over 23 starts. On November 19, 2024, the White Sox added Carela to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.[21]

On March 7, 2025, it was announced that Carela would miss the entirety of the 2025 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery.[22][23] He was released by the White Sox on April 10.[24][25] On April 19, Carela re-signed with the White Sox organization on a minor league contract.[26]

Adisyn Coffey

Adisyn Matthew Coffey (born January 22, 1999) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Coffey attended Delta High School in Muncie, Indiana, where he played on the baseball team.[27] He graduated in 2017 and enrolled at Arizona State University to play college baseball.[28] He transferred after his freshman year to San Jacinto College, and then transferred once again to Wabash Valley College for the 2020 season.[29] Coffey was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the third round of the 2020 Major League Baseball draft.[30] He signed for $50,000.[31]

Coffey underwent Tommy John surgery after signing with the White Sox, and thus did not make his professional debut until 2022 with the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers.[32] He went 4–3 with a 5.23 ERA over 51 innings. He opened the 2023 season with the Winston-Salem Dash and was promoted to the Birmingham Barons in mid-July. Over forty relief appearances between the two teams, Coffey went 1–2 with a 4.82 ERA and 53 strikeouts. He was selected to play in the Arizona Fall League for the Glendale Desert Dogs after the season.[33]

Coffey opened the 2024 season with Birmingham and was promoted to the Charlotte Knights in late May. While playing for Charlotte on June 16, 2024, Coffey was part of a seven–pitcher no-hitter against the Durham Bulls.[34] Over fifty relief appearances between Birmingham and Charlotte, Coffey went 5–2 with a 1.55 ERA and 55 strikeouts over 52+13 innings.[35]

Andrew Dalquist

Andrew R. Dalquist (born November 13, 2000) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Dalquist was born and grew up in Redondo Beach, California, and attended Redondo Union High School. As a senior, he went 9–0 with a 1.78 ERA and 103 strikeouts.[36] Dalquist had committed to play college baseball at the University of Arizona prior to being drafted.[37]

Dalquist was selected in the 3rd round of the 2019 MLB draft by the Chicago White Sox.[38] After signing with the team, he was assigned to the Arizona League White Sox where he made three one-inning appearances, all of which were scoreless.[39][40] After the 2020 minor league season was canceled due to COVID-19, Dalquist was added to the White Sox's alternate training site midway through the Major League season.[41][42]

Dalquist was assigned to the Low-A Kannapolis Cannon Ballers for the 2021 season.[43] Over 23 starts, he went 3–9 with a 4.99 ERA and 79 strikeouts over 83 innings.[44]

Wikelman González

Wikelman David González (born March 25, 2002) is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher for the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB).

González signed with the Boston Red Sox as an international free agent on July 2, 2018.[45] He made his professional debut in 2019 with the Dominican Summer League Red Sox.

González did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[46] He returned to action in 2021 to play for the rookie-level Florida Complex League Red Sox and Salem Red Sox. He spent the 2022 season with Salem and the Greenville Drive, then started the 2023 season with Greenville before his promotion to the Portland Sea Dogs.[47][48][49] González was recognized as the Red Sox' minor-league pitcher of the year for 2023.[50]

On November 14, 2023, the Red Sox added González to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft. He began the 2024 season with Double-A Portland, ranked as the Red Sox' number seven minor-league prospect by Baseball America.[51]

On December 11, 2024, González, along with Braden Montgomery, Chase Meidroth and Kyle Teel, was traded to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for Garrett Crochet.[52] González was optioned to the Double-A Birmingham Barons to begin the 2025 season.[53]

Riley Gowens

Gowens attended Libertyville High School in Libertyville, Illinois, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He played college baseball for the Illinois Fighting Illini. The Atlanta Braves selected him in the ninth round of the 2023 MLB draft.[54]

On November 16, 2023, the Braves traded Gowens, Michael Soroka, Jared Shuster, Nicky Lopez, and Braden Shewmake to the Chicago White Sox for Aaron Bummer.[55]

Anthony Hoopii-Tuionetoa

Hoopii-Tuionetoa graduated from Henry Perrine Baldwin High School in 2018. He attended Pierce College.[56]

The Texas Rangers selected Hoopii-Tuionetoa in the 30th round of the 2019 MLB draft.[57] After the 2023 season, Hoopii-Tuionetoa pitched for the Surprise Saguaros of the Arizona Fall League.[58][59] On May 8, 2024, the Rangers traded Hoopii-Tuionetoa to the Chicago White Sox for Robbie Grossman.[60]

Wes Kath

Weston Douglas Kath (born August 3, 2002) is an American professional baseball third baseman in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Kath attended Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.[61] He committed to play college baseball at Arizona State University.[62][63] He played in both the Area Code Games and the World Wood Bat Association World Championship in 2020.[64] In 2021, as a senior, he helped lead Desert Mountain to a 5A State Championship title.[65] He was subsequently named the Arizona Gatorade High School Baseball Player of the Year after batting .486 with 11 home runs, 29 RBIs, and 34 runs scored.[66]

Kath was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the second round with the 57th overall selection of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.[67] He signed for $1.8 million.[68] He made his professional debut with the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League White Sox.[69] Over 104 at-bats in 28 games, he slashed .212/.287/.337 with three home runs and 15 RBIs.[70] He was assigned to the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers of the Single-A Carolina League to begin the 2022 season.[71] In mid-August, he was promoted to the Birmingham Barons of the Double-A Southern League.[72] Over 112 games between the two teams, Kath batted .230 with 13 home runs, 45 RBIs, and 21 doubles.[73] For the 2023 season, he was assigned to the Winston-Salem Dash of the High-A South Atlantic League.[74] Over 95 games, he hit .193 with eight home runs and 31 RBIs.[75] Kath returned to Winston-Salem for the 2024 season, batting .226 with 16 home runs and 58 RBIs over 116 games.[76]

Evan McKendry

McKendry played college baseball for the Miami Hurricanes. As a junior, he went 7-2 record with a 4.41 ERA and 72 strikeouts.[77]

McKendry was selected in the ninth round by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2019 Major League Baseball draft.[78]

On August 1, 2023, McKendry was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for Alex Jackson.[79] He spent the remainder of the year with the Triple-A Nashville Sounds, posting a 4-3 record and 4.93 ERA with 35 strikeouts over eight starts.

On May 5, 2025, McKendry was traded to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for cash considerations.[80]

Jeral Pérez

On January 15, 2022, Pérez signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization as an international free agent.[81] He made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Dodgers, hitting .278/.371/.500 with eight home runs and 28 RBI across 48 games.[82]

Pérez spent the majority of the 2023 campaign with the rookie–level Arizona Complex League Dodgers, also appearing in seven games for the Single–A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. In 53 games for the ACL Dodgers, he slashed .257/.389/.503 with a league–leading 11 home runs, 41 RBI, and nine stolen bases.[83]

During the 2023-24 offseason, Pérez made minor mechanical changes in his batting stance, which included standing closer to the plate.[84] Returning to Rancho Cucamonga, he hit eight home runs and posted an .825 OPS in his first 244 at–bats, a performance which earned him an invitation to the 2024 All-Star Futures Game.[85]

On July 29, 2024, the Dodgers traded Pérez to the Chicago White Sox as part of a three-team deal that also sent Alexander Albertus and Miguel Vargas to Chicago, sent Tommy Edman, Michael Kopech, and Oliver Gonzalez to the Los Angeles Dodgers, and sent Erick Fedde and Tommy Pham to the St. Louis Cardinals.[86]

Tyler Schweitzer

Schweitzer attended Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana and played college baseball at Ball State University. As a junior in 2022, he was the Mid-American Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Year.[87] He was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the fifth round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.[88]

Adams signed with the White Sox and spent his first professional season with the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers and Winston-Salem Dash. He pitched 2024 with Winston-Salem before being promoted to the Birmingham Barons. Schweitzer started 2025 with Birmingham and was promoted to the Charlotte Knights early in the season.

Jordan Sprinkle

Sprinkle grew up in Palm Springs, California and attended Palm Desert High School.[89]

Sprinkle played college baseball for the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos for three seasons. He played in three games and went hitless in two at-bats during his true freshman season before it was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic.[90] Sprinkle was named the Big West Conference Co-Freshmen Field Player of the Year as a redshirt freshman after batting .353 with 18 doubles, seven home runs, and 32 RBIs and led the conference with 26 stolen bases.[91] He was named second team All-Big West after hitting .285 with 32 RBIs, 44 runs scored, and 25 stolen bases.[92] Following the end of the season he entered the NCAA transfer portal and committed to play at Arkansas.[93]

Sprinkle was selected in the fourth round of the 2022 MLB draft by the Chicago White Sox.[94] He signed with the team on July 27, 2022, and received a $452,900 signing bonus.[95]

Terrell Tatum

Tatum attended Houston High School in Germantown, Tennessee and played college baseball at NC State University. He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 16th round of the 2021 Major League Baseball Draft.[96] He signed with the White Sox and spent his first professional season with the Arizona Complex League White Sox and Winston-Salem Dash.

Tatum played 2022 with the Kannapolis Intimidators and Winston-Salem.[97] After the season, he played in the Arizona Fall League. Tatum started 2023 with Winston-Salem before being promoted to the Birmingham Barons.

George Wolkow
