Catherine Legault is a Canadian film editor and director from Quebec.[1] She is most noted for her work on the film Family Demolition (La démolition familiale), for which she won the Prix Iris for Best Editing in a Documentary at the 19th Quebec Cinema Awards in 2017.[2]
As a director, she made her debut in 2019 with Sisters: Dream & Variations (Sœurs: Rêve et variations), a portrait of two Canadian visual artists undertaking a creative trip to Iceland.[3] She followed up in 2024 with Larry (They/Them) (Larry (iel)), a portrait of photographer Laurence Philomène.[4]
