Cembalea plumosa is a species of spider in the family Salticidae.[2] It is found in Africa and is commonly known as the Tanzania Cembalea jumping spider.[3]

Distribution
Cembalea plumosa is found in Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and South Africa.[2] The specific distribution within South Africa is unknown.[3]

Taxonomy
Cembalea plumosa was originally described in 1925 as Tularosa plumosa from Tanzania.[1] It was transferred to Cembalea by Wesołowska in 1993.[4]
Conservation
Cembalea plumosa is listed as Least Concern due to its wide geographical range in Africa.[3] There are no significant threats to the species.[3]
