Charis Yulianto (born 11 July 1978) is an Indonesian former footballer who played as a centre-back. He made his debut in the Indonesia national team in October 2004 during Peter White's coaching period. Throughout his career he has collected 36 caps with the Red and Whites.[1]

International career
Yulianto's debut in the senior national team squad was in a World Cup qualifying match against Saudi Arabia on 12 October 2004. Indonesia lost the match 3–1.[citation needed] Charis Yulianto was captain of the Indonesia national football team in 2008–2010.[2] He assumed the captain's armband for the Indonesia national football team replacing Ponaryo Astaman.[3]
Charis retired from the Indonesia national football team in 2010. During his six years playing for the Indonesia national football team, the player from Blitar made 36 appearances and scored two goals.[2] After retiring, he founded the Charis Yulianto Football Academy to produce new professional football players in Indonesia.[3]
