Charlie Dalin (born 10 May 1984) is a French offshore sailor. He placed first in the 10th edition of the quadrennial Vendée Globe race around the world that took place in 2024–2025 completing the race within a time of 64 days, 19 hours, 22 minutes and 49 seconds, smashing the previous record by 9 days, 8 hours, 12 minutes and 57 seconds. The edition before that he also finished second in the Vendée Globe race that took place in 2020–2021, with a time of 80 days, 6 hours, 15 minutes and 47 seconds.[1] He covered 28,268 nautical miles (52,352 km; 32,530 mi) at a race average of 14.67 knots (27.17 km/h; 16.88 mph).[2] He has a Naval Architecture degree from the University of Southampton.[3]

He is also IMOCA world champion in 2021 and 2022. In 2023 he launched his new sailing yacht MACIF, an IMOCA 60 monohull.[4]
