Chase McGowan (born December 12, 2000) is an American professional football defensive lineman for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). McGowan played college football for the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens.

College career
McGowan played for the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens from 2019 to 2023.[1] He played in 52 games and recorded 110 tackles, including 40 tackles for loss, 22 sacks, four pass deflections, four forced fumbles and one fumble recoveries.[2] He sits fourth in program history in sacks and fifth in tackles for loss.[1] In his last four seasons at Delaware, McGowan earned All-CAA honors.[3][1]
Professional career
Ottawa Redblacks
On September 13, 2024, McGowan signed with the Ottawa Redblacks.[5][2] He was signed to the practice roster on May 31, 2025, as part of the final roster cuts.[6] He was activated on July 11 and made his professional debut against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.[7][8]
