Chilean Copper Commission

The Chilean Copper Commission (Spanish: Comisión Chilena del Cobre) or COCHILCO from its Spanish initialls is a technical agency aimed to provide advice to the Chilean government on issues related to copper, a metal of which Chile is the worlds largest producer,^[1] and mining in general.^[2] The Chilean Copper Commission is one of various agencies involved in the governance of mining in Chile which also includes the National Mining Enterprise (ENAMI), the National Geology and Mining Service (SERNAGEOMIN) and the Ministry of Mining.^[3]
