Chockstone Pictures is an American independent film production company founded in 2004 by the husband-and-wife team of Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz.^[1] The company is headquartered in Malibu, California.^[2] The company's filmography includes The Road, The Tree of Life, Killing Them Softly,^[3] and All the Old Knives.^[4][5] Chockstone Pictures' founders also founded Schwartz Communications, a public relations agency.^[6]
