Chondi

The village Chondi or Chaundi, the birthplace^[1] of Punyashlok Rajmata Ahilyadevi Holkar, is in Jamkhed taluka of district Ahilyanagar. The state government of Maharashtra has decided to develop Chondi as a national memorial.^[2]
