Chorkor

Chorkor is a fishing village and neighbourhood in the Accra Metropolis District, a district in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.^[1][2] The Chorkor oven got its name from here.^[3] Chorkor is a densely populated community.^[4][5] Ga-Dangme is the largest ethnic group in Chorkor, followed by Akan.^[6] Chorkor has electricity, water pipes, schools, and clinics.^[7] Chorkor is popularly known for being the birthplace of the Azonto dance.^[8]
