Christopher Woodrow is an American entrepreneur, financier, and movie producer. He is the founder and former chairman Worldview Entertainment. He was ousted from Worldview Entertainment in 2014. From 2017 to 2018, he was founder and CEO of MovieCoin, a cryptocurrency-based entertainment finance company. In 2019 he started Media Capital Technologies, another media investment company.

Woodrow was the founder and served as chairman and CEO at Vendian Entertainment[1][2] and Worldview Entertainment,[3][4] motion picture companies that financed and produced over 30 feature films.[5] Variety named Woodrow as one of 10 Producers To Watch in 2012,[6] while Deadline named him as one of five Producers To Watch at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013.[7][8]

In June 2014, Woodrow was ousted from Woldview.[9] In October 2024, Woodrow sued Worldview for defamation, as well as to reclaim executive producer credits, unpaid wages, and personal property after was bared from returning to the Worldview premise. This lawsuit was in response to a lawsuit from his former business partner Maria Cestone, which claiming that Woodrow and his wife had charged hundreds of thousand of dollars in bogus expenses to the company.[10] As of March 2015, Worldview had ceased operation.[11][12] In April a judge ordered that his personal belongs be returned.[13]

In 2017, Woodrow moved to Los Angeles. He was the founder and CEO of MovieCoin, a cryptocurrency-based entertainment finance company from 2017-2018.[14][15]

Woodrow has been the founder and chairman of Media Capital Technologies (MCT), a specialty finance company that has made investments in media, since 2019. In 2021, MassMutual acquired an interest in the company. MCT closed a multi-year co-financing deal with Lionsgate in 2023.[16]
