In 2022, Anuj Kapur joined CloudBees as CEO, having previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at Cisco and President at SAP. Under his leadership, the company has continued expanding its platform capabilities to address evolving enterprise DevOps requirements. The previous year, CloudBees had completed a $150 million Series F funding round[12], reaching a $1 billion valuation to support growth initiatives in the DevOps market. Anuj was recognized in 2024 as DevOps Industry Leader of the Year[13] for his transformative impact at the company.

In 2023, CloudBees acquired Launchable[14], a company specializing in AI-powered test optimization and predictive testing solutions. This acquisition was integrated into what is now known as CloudBees Smart Tests, strengthening the company’s capabilities in intelligent software delivery and test automation. In 2025, CloudBees received Newsweek’s AI Impact Award for “Best Outcomes in Engineering” for CloudBees Smart Tests[15], which was recognized for its practical AI applications that measurably improve developer productivity rather than solely demonstrating technical capabilities.

At DevOps World 2024, CloudBees reported reaching $150 million in annual recurring revenue while achieving profitability[16]. The company stated that its products serve more than 500,000 developers globally.

In May 2025, the company announced the launch of CloudBees Unify, the industry’s most open and flexible solution, representing what the company described as a strategic shift from offering standalone DevOps tools to delivering a comprehensive, modular solution for complex enterprise software environments. CloudBees Unify is designed as an operating layer that connects existing developer toolchains through a unified, AI-enhanced control plane, enabling organizations to consolidate governance and accelerate delivery without replacing current systems. This addresses the growing challenge of fragmented DevOps toolchains that create operational inefficiencies in enterprise environments.

Today, the company enables the Global 2000 companies to accelerate innovation, improve efficiency, and reduce security risks. As part of its go-to-market strategy, CloudBees has built a robust global partner network, including AWS, Perficient, Aliado, Cognizant, and SPKAA and a global customer base, such as Salesforce, HSBC, Adobe, Accenture, Mount Sinai Health System and others.
