Leave to bring in the Combination Laws Repeal Bill to the House of Commons was granted on 25 May 1824 to Joseph Hume MP, William Sturges Bourne MP and Peter Moore MP.[1] The bill had its first reading in the House of Commons on 27 May 1824, presented by Joseph Hume MP.[1] The bill had its second reading in the House of Commons on 1 June 1824 and was committed to a committee of the whole house,[1] which met on and reported on 1 June 1824, with amendments.[1] The amended bill was considered on 3 June 1824 and re-committed to a committee of the whole house which met and reported on 4 June 1824, with amendments.[1] The amended bill had its third reading in the House of Commons on 5 June 1824 and passed, without amendments.[1]
