Consilium Academies is a multi-academy trust (MAT) established in March 2015. It operates as a private limited company by guarantee without share capital.[4] The trust is headquartered at Floor 5, 1 City Approach, Albert Street, Eccles, Manchester, England.

As of 2025, the trust operates eight academies across three regional hubs: Salford, South Yorkshire, and the North East of England.[5]

Awards and Recognition
In December 2022, Consilium Academies was named Multi-Academy Trust of the Year at The National Schools Awards, held at the House of Lords.[6]
In March 2025, the trust received the Innovative Trust of the Year award for its work on digital transformation across its schools.[7]

Several schools within Consilium Academies have shown notable improvement according to Ofsted:
- Ellesmere Park High School – Rated Good in July 2023.[9]
- Thornhill Academy – Rated Good in May 2024.[10]
- Wyvern Academy – Rated Good in June 2023.[11]
- Moorside High School – Rated Good in March 2022.[12]
- Washington Academy – Rated Requires Improvement in March 2024.[13]
- Armthorpe Academy – Rated Requires Improvement in April 2024.[14]
- Heworth Grange School – Awaiting full inspection following conversion.[15]
- Consilium Evolve – Inspected as alternative provision in September 2023.[16]
Educational Initiatives
The trust has introduced several initiatives to improve education:
- Consilium Evolve, an alternative provision academy in Sunderland, supports secondary-age students experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), aiming to re-engage students with learning in a supportive environment.[17]
- Life Lessons Program, a bespoke RSHE curriculum, has been implemented across all Consilium schools to strengthen pupil welfare, behaviour, and attendance.[18]
