Its portfolio includes more than 86 multifamily communities and 25 million square feet of commercial space.

History
Crescent Communities traces its roots to 1963, when it was founded as part of Duke Power (now Duke Energy) to manage land around Lake James and Lake Norman. It was later spun off as Crescent Resources, LLC, before rebranding to Crescent Communities.
Since its founding, the company has developed more than 86 multifamily communities and over 25 million square feet of commercial space.
