Cristiano Caccamo

Cristiano Caccamo (born 21 March 1989)^[1][2] is an Italian actor.

Early life

Caccamo was born in Taurianova, the son of poet and writer Michele Caccamo.^[3][4] He has one brother, Gabriele.^[1] At the age of 15, he left his hometown to attend a boarding school in Assisi.^[5][6] He originally wanted to be an architect, but later graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome.^[3][7]

Career

Caccamo was encouraged by his father to work full-time as an actor.^[3][8] In 2010, he made his theater debut as a soldier in the play Ciechi.^[1]

In 2020, he published his debut novel, Chiedimi la Luna.^[9] Aside from acting, he also operates a restaurant in Rome.^[7]
