Controversy

On October 13, 2024, program host Carina Bea Dela Cruz made a post on her Facebook profile about her thoughts about the celebration of the Nuestra Senora La Virgen del Pilar (or Fiesta Pilar) inside the Fort Pilar Shrine premises, with calling her out 'should be observed with dignified solemnities'. This prompted the Fort Pilar Shrine Administrator and Catholic priest, Fr. Armand Aquino called out for attention and cited 'how Fiesta Pilar has been celebrated solemnly by mood, but also remains festive.' Dela Cruz deleted her original post and apologized 'for the importance of cultural and spiritual symbols for many'. The radio station's management made a statement regarding this matter that 'the views are represented by her and does not represent by the radio station' and have talked to Dela Cruz about what happened.[3][4]
