Early life

Walker grew up playing basketball before deciding to make the switch to football. She played under-18s football for the Sandringham Dragons in the NAB League Girls, averaging 16 disposals in three matches before the 2020 season was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]

AFLW career

Carlton selected Walker with their second pick, and twenty-eight overall, in the 2020 AFL Women's draft.[3] She made her AFLW debut in Carlton's 24-point win over St Kilda at Moorabbin Oval in round 3 of the 2021 season.[2] She signed a two-year contract with Carlton on 10 June 2021, after it was revealed the team had conducted a mass re-signing of 13 players.[4]. She played 31 games over four seasons before being delisted at the end of the 2023 season.

Walker then signed with Greater Western Sydney but suffered a knee injury before the 2024 season, ruling her out for the entire year.[5] She made her debut for the Giants really in the 2025 season.
