Michael Arias

Michael Alexander Arias (born November 15, 2001) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Arias signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent on July 5, 2018. He was an infielder in the Blue Jays organization, but did not play in a game for the organization in 2018 or 2019, and missed the 2020 campaign after it was cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] Arias was released by Toronto on May 29, 2020.

On January 15, 2021, Arias signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs and was converted into a pitcher.

On November 14, 2023, the Cubs added Arias to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.[2] He was optioned to the Double–A Tennessee Smokies to begin the 2024 season.[3] In 49 appearances split between Tennessee and the Triple-A Iowa Cubs, Arias accumulated a 6-2 record and 4.77 ERA with 72 strikeouts and 5 saves across 60+13 innings pitched. On January 13, 2025, Arias was designated for assignment by the Cubs.[4]

On January 15, 2025, Arias was traded to the New York Yankees in exchange for cash considerations.[5] He was optioned to the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders to begin the 2025 season.[6]

Roderick Arias

Arias was ranked as the top international free agent in the 2022 class.[7] He signed with the New York Yankees in January 2022 for $4 million.[8]

Arias made his professional debut in 2022 with the Dominican Summer League Yankees, and played 2023 with the Florida Complex League Yankees.[9]

Sean Boyle

Sean Boyle (born October 29, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization.

Boyle grew up in Selden, New York and attended Newfield High School. He did not play baseball until his junior year at Newfield. Boyle began his college baseball career at Suffolk County Community College, playing for two seasons before transferring to Dallas Baptist University.[10] As a senior for the Dallas Baptist Patriots, Boyle made 21 appearances with two starts and went 1–1 with a 3.60 ERA and 40 strikeouts over 35 innings pitched.[11]

The New York Yankees selected Boyle in the 25th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft. He signed with the team and received a $10,000 signing bonus. After signing with the team Boyle was assigned to the Gulf Coast League Yankees as a reliever and struck out 20 batters over 15 innings pitched.[12]

He began the 2019 season with the Pulaski Yankees before earning a promotion to the Class A Short Season Staten Island Yankees after posting a 1.88 ERA with 32 strikeouts in 28+23 innings pitched.[13]

Boyle did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He began the 2021 season with the Low-A Tampa Tarpons, where he began to transition from a reliever to a starter before being promoted to the High-A Hudson Valley Renegades where in his first start, threw a combined no-hitter for Hudson Valley Renegades, their first in 20 years. He then was promoted to the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.[14] where in his first start in AAA, threw a complete game no-hitter against the WooSox in their new stadium. Boyle was named AAA International League pitcher of the week for the week of 9/22/21. Boyle had risen through 4 levels of the minor leagues in 2021 and threw 2 no-hitters that year. Boyle was later sent to the Double-A Somerset Patriots before being assigned back to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.[15]

To begin 2022, he pitched 2 innings in the March 20 Yankees Spring Training game, allowing no runs. To start the 2022 season he was assigned to AA Somerset in order to get more innings for his continued conversion to a full time starting pitcher. He was named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for 7/17 and Eastern League of the Month for July.[16] He was also named 2022 Pitcher of the year [17] voted by Somerset fans. Boyle had a record 10 straight quality starts at AA Somerset, the longest streak by any minor leaguer since 2019 before he was promoted to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at the beginning of August.[18] In 2022, Boyle ranked second of all minor league pitchers with 155+13 innings pitched, third with 13 wins, and fourth with 160 strikeouts.[19]

Kyle Carr

Kyle Isiah Carr (born May 6, 2002) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees organization.

Carr attended San Marcos High School in San Marcos, California, where he played for the school's baseball team as a two-way player. He had Tommy John surgery in October 2020. Carr pitched to a 12–1 win–loss record with a 2.31 earned run average (ERA) and 111 strikeouts in 78 innings pitched.[20]

Carr enrolled at the University of San Diego to play college baseball for the San Diego Toreros. He took a redshirt in 2021. In 2022, he had a 6.19 ERA in 16 innings pitched and batted 2-for-14 (.143) as a designated hitter. He broke a hand in February 2022.[20] In 2022, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[21] He transferred to Palomar College for the 2023 college season.[22] For Palomar, he had a 12–1 record and a 2.31 ERA.[23] Carr committed to transfer to Texas Christian University for the 2024 season.[20]

The Yankees selected him in the third round of the 2023 MLB draft.[24] In 2024, he played for the Hudson Valley Renegades of the Class A-Advanced South Atlantic League.[25]

Carson Coleman

Carson Cavanagh Coleman (born April 7, 1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization.

Coleman attended Lexington Catholic High School in Lexington, Kentucky and played college baseball at the University of Kentucky. In 2018 and 2019, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[26][27] He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 33rd round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft, but did not sign and returned to Kentucky for another season.[28] He signed with the New York Yankees as an undrafted free agent after he was not selected in the 2020 Major League Baseball draft, which was shortened because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[29][30]

Coleman spent his professional debut season of 2021 with the Tampa Tarpons, going 2–3 with a 6.11 ERA and 49 strikeouts over 35+13 innings.[31] He split the 2022 season between the Hudson Valley Renegades and the Somerset Patriots, going a combined 2–3 with a 2.13 ERA and 95 strikeouts over 63+13 innings.[32] Coleman underwent Tommy John surgery in April 2023, and missed the entire season.[33]

On December 6, 2023, Coleman was selected by the Texas Rangers in the Rule 5 draft.[34] He did not appear for the organization as he continued to recover from surgery.

On November 19, 2024, Coleman was returned to the New York Yankees organization.[35]

Bryce Cunningham

Cunningham attended Headland High School in Headland, Alabama. As a senior in 2021, he had a 0.76 earned run average (ERA) with 77 strikeouts over 46 innings.[36] Cunningham played college baseball at Vanderbilt University from 2022 to 2024.[37][38] During his college career he started 26 of 46 games, going 11-8 with a 4.95 ERA and 168 strikeouts over 160 innings.[39] In 2022 and 2023, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League and was named a league all-star in both seasons.[40][41]

Cunningham was selected by the New York Yankees in the second round of the 2024 Major League Baseball draft.[42][43] He made his professional debut in 2025 with the Hudson Valley Renegades.

Tyler Hardman

Hardman attended Temescal Canyon High School in Lake Elsinore, California. He was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 37th round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft, but did not sign and played college baseball at the University of Oklahoma.[44][45] In 2019, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he was named a league all-star and won the league's annual home run derby.[46] After four years at Oklahoma, during which he slashed .311/.392/.497, he was drafted by the New York Yankees in the fifth round of the 2021 MLB draft, and signed.[47][48]

Hardman spent his first professional season with the Florida Complex League Yankees and Tampa Tarpons. He played 2022 with Hudson Valley Renegades and Somerset Patriots.[49] After the season, he played in the Arizona Fall League.[50]

Dylan Jasso

Born in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico, Jasso played one season of college baseball at New Mexico Junior College and hit .453 with 25 home runs during the 2023 season.[51] He signed with the New York Yankees as an undrafted free agent in 2023.

Jasso made his professional debut that season with the Florida Complex League Yankees and Tampa Tarpons, batting .320 over 21 games between both teams. Jasso opened the 2024 season with the Tampa and was promoted to the Hudson Valley Renegades near the season's end.[52] Over 120 games between both teams, he hit .243 with 11 home runs and 67 RBIs. Jasso was assigned to the Somerset Patriots to begin the 2025 season.[53][54]

Dax Kilby

Kilby attended Newnan High School in Newnan, Georgia.[55] As a senior, he batted .495 with five home runs and 42 runs batted in (RBI).[56] He committed to play college baseball at Clemson University.[57]

Kileby was selected by the New York Yankees 39th overall in the 2025 Major League Baseball draft.[58][59] He signed with the Yankees.[60] On July 19, 2025, Kirby signed with the Yankees for a $2.8 million signing bonus.[61]

Carlos Lagrange

Lagrange signed with the New York Yankees as an international free agent in February 2022.[62][63] He made his professional debut that year with the Dominican Summer League Yankees.

Lagrange pitched 2023 with the Florida Complex League Yankees and 2024 with the FCL Yankees and Tampa Tarpons.[64] After the 2024 season he pitched in the Arizona Fall League.[65] He started 2025 with the Hudson Valley Renegades.[66][67][68]

Henry Lalane

Lalane was born in The Bronx, New York and moved to the Dominican Republic when he was young.[69] He signed with the New York Yankees as an international free agent in May 2021.[70]

Lalane made his professional debut in 2021 with the Dominican Summer League Yankees and also pitched 2022 with them. In 2023, he played for the Florida Complex League Yankees.

Justin Lange

Lange attended Llano High School in Llano, Texas, where he played baseball.[71][72] He committed to play college baseball at Dallas Baptist University.[73] Lange was selected by the San Diego Padres with the 34th overall pick in the 2020 Major League Baseball draft.[74][75] Lange signed with the Padres on June 24 for a $2 million bonus.[76]

Lange did not play a minor league game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.[77] He made his professional debut in 2021 with the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League Padres.[78] Over nine starts, he pitched to a 0–3 record, a 6.95 ERA, 29 strikeouts, and 15 walks over 22 innings.[79]

On March 18, 2022, the Padres traded Lange to the New York Yankees for Luke Voit.[80] In 2022, he played with the Florida Complex League Yankees and went 3-1 with a 6.44 ERA over 12 starts. Lange opened the 2023 season with the Tampa Tarpons and was promoted to the Hudson Valley Renegades near the season's end.[81] Over 21 starts between both teams, he went 2-5 with a 4.75 ERA and 131 strikeouts. Lange missed the entire 2024 season due to a shoulder injury and returned to play in 2025 in a rehab start with the Complex League before being assigned to Tampa.[82]

Dillon Lewis

He was selected by the Boston Red Sox in the fourth round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.[88] He spent his first professional season in 2022 with the Florida Complex League Red Sox and Salem Red Sox. He pitched 2023 with the Salem Red Sox and 2024 with Salem and Greenville Drive.

On December 11, 2024 the Red Sox traded Rodriguez-Cruz to the New York Yankees for Carlos Narváez.[89]

Brock Selvidge

Selvidge attended Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona. As a junior in 2020, he was named the Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year for Arizona.[90] Selvidge was drafted by the New York Yankees in the third round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.[91][92] He signed with the Yankees rather than playing college baseball at Louisiana State University (LSU), and made his professional debut that season with the Florida Complex League Yankees.

He pitched 2022 with the FCL Yankees and played 2023 with Tampa Tarpons before being promoted to the Hudson Valley Renegades.
