Career
A son of former League of Ireland veteran Martin Nugent, Darragh played in the youth department of UCD, before moving to Shamrock Rovers academy.[1] He appeared on the bench three times for Shamrock Rovers during the 2019 LOI Premier Division season.[2] Nugent was loaned out to Longford Town during the 2021 LOI Premier Division season[3] and Drogheda United during the 2022 LOI Premier Division season.[2] Nugent scored his first goal for Rovers in a 2-1 loss vs St Patrick's Athletic with a header.
