Plot
Deadly Legacy follows San Francisco P.D. Homicide Inspector Kate Gillespie as she investigates a perplexing apparent murder/suicide case that quickly escalates out of control. The investigation is complicated by the possibility that a presumed dead victim may still be alive, and the families of the deceased appear to be concealing vital information. As Gillespie uncovers blood-soaked connections reaching into influential circles, she is confronted with shocking revelations about one of the "victims'" dark and dangerous past. The more Kate learns, the less clear the case becomes, placing her directly in the crosshairs of a dangerous killer. This high-stakes investigation puts Kate's career and life in extreme peril as she races to uncover the truth.[7][4]
