DeepFest is an annual AI event organized by Tahaluf and powered by the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA).[1][2][3] The event was held for the first time and co-located with LEAP Tech Event in February 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.[4][5][6]

DeepFest consists of two stages, the main stage covers topics such as generative AI, AI policy and governance, robotics, AI ethics and regulation, human-centric AI, AI and the future of work and the DeepMedia stage, covers the integration of AI in the media industry, in collaboration with Ministry of Media.[7][8][9]

History
DeepFest was first held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 6–9 February 2023.[10][11][12] The event hosted over 20,000 attendees in three days. About 80 exhibitors and 50 speakers and tech experts participated in DeepFest 2023.
DeepFest 2024, the second edition took place in Malham, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 4–7 March 2024.[13] Over four days, DeepFest hosted more than 48,000 attendees, 150 speakers and 120 exhibitors.[14][15][16][17][18]

The speaking panel has included global executives, government officials and AI experts including Angela Kane, Mo Gawdat, Lan Guan, Michael Kratsios, Omar Hatamleh, Aparna Bawa, Jordi Van Den Bussche, Sol Rashidi, Hiroshi Ishiguro, Cassie Kozyrkov. Greg Ombach and Mark Minevich.[7][14][19]
DeepFest's sponsors and partners include SDAIA, Ministry of Media, SenseTime, Jazeera paints, Axellect, UiPath, Teradata, Beyond Limits, Advanced Labs for technologies and Quality support solutions.[7][14][19][20][21]
Google, Meta, IBM, TikTok, NASA, Zoom, HTC, Shahid, Microsoft, and NVIDIA were among the 200+ that attended DeepFest over the past two years.[20][21][22]
