Deepak Khadka

Deepak Khadka is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the Nepali Congress and served as the Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation from 15 July 2024 from 9 September 2025 in the until the end of his tenure in the cabinet led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.^[1][2][3]

Khadka also serves as a member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal. In the 2022 Nepalese general election, he won the election from Sankhuwasabha 1 (constituency).^[4][5] In November 2016, Khadka also served as a cabinet minister and was appointed Minister of State for Water Supply and Sanitation of Government of Nepal.^[6] Khadka was a member of the 2nd Nepalese Constituent Assembly. He won the election from Sankhuwasabha–2 constituency in the 2013 Nepalese Constituent Assembly election.^[7][8][9]
