Deer Creek Township is one of fourteen townships in Cass County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 897 (down from 912 at 2010[4]) and contained 374 housing units.

History
Deer Creek Township was organized in 1842.[5] Deer Creek Township was named from Deer Creek, which was named from herds of wild deer that were often seen near its banks.[6]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.13 square miles (93.6 km2), all land. [4]
