Deoroop Teemal

Deoroop Teemal (5 September 1956^[1] – 3 August 2025) was a Trinidadian and Tobagonian politician.^[2]

Life and career

Teemal was chairman of IDYTT.^[3] He was appointed to the Senate as an independent senator in 2018.^[4][5] In 2023, he was elected president of the National Council of Indian Culture (NCIC).^[6]

Teemal died on 3 August 2025, at the age of 68.^[7][8]
