Derby Chukwudi

Derby Ozioma Chukwudi is an American beauty pageant titleholder. She won the title of Miss New Jersey USA on March 19, 2023. She represented New Jersey for the title of Miss USA 2023 and reached the top 20.

Early life and education

Chukwudi was born in Dallas, Texas and is a first generation Nigerian-American. Chukwudi spent her formative years in Lagos, Nigeria.

Chukwudi graduated cum laude from Berea College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics.

Career

Chukwudi began working at JPMorgan in 2018 as a summer analyst and transitioned to a full-time role in 2019 after completing her undergraduate degrees.^{[citation needed]} As of early 2024, she served as a member of the organization's Global Investment Strategy Team in Midtown New York. She was also a member sub-committee responsible for creating the 24th Annual Summer Reading List.^[1]

Pageantry

Chukwundi has competed at multiple Miss USA beauty pageants. She won the title of Miss New Jersey USA on March 19, 2023.^[2] She then represented New Jersey at Miss USA 2023 and reached the top 20.^[3]
