Devikulam State assembly constituency is one of the 140 state legislative assembly constituencies in Kerala in southern India. It is also one of the seven state legislative assembly constituencies included in Idukki Lok Sabha constituency.[1] Since 2011, the constituency has been reserved for members of the Scheduled Castes (SC). In the 2021 assembly elections, A. Raja of CPI(M) was elected as the MLA. However, he was subsequently disqualified by Kerala High Court on 20 March 2023.[2][3] The Kerala High Court order was challenged in the Supreme Court, which subsequently stayed the High Court order. The final ruling is pending as on 3rd January 2025.[4][5]
