Dewan Abul Abbas

Dewan Abul Abbas was a Pakistani and Bangladeshi politician. He was a member of the East Pakistan Provincial Assembly representing Comilla.^[1][2]

Abbas was born on 1 March 1926 in Barikandi village, under Nabinagar thana of Comilla district (now in Brahmanbaria District). He earned a master's degree in English and, in 1952, an LL. B.^[3] He was a lawyer.^[4] He was a member of the Constituent Assembly of Bangladesh.^[5][6] In 1962, he was elected to the East Pakistan Provincial Assembly.^[3]

His son, Dewan Aftabul Alam, lives in Wari, Dhaka.^[5]
