History
The name originated from a meeting between Mark McKee, Jeff Tremaine, and Steve Rocco to decide on a publishing company name for their Big Brother skateboarding magazine; McKee suggested the final name after Rocco disagreed with Tremaine's suggestion (Dick Incorporated).[1]
In about the mid-2000s, Dickhouse had a partnership with skateboarder Rob Dyrdek, producing shows such as Rob & Big, Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory, and Ridiculousness.
Around 2014, the company stopped using the Dickhouse name and rebranded as Gorilla Flicks. This company, operated by Tremaine, Knoxville, and Jonze, continues to produce projects related to the Jackass franchise, including recent films, like 2022's Jackass Forever.
