Garrett Baumann
Garrett Joseph Baumann (born August 15, 2004) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Atlanta Braves organization.
Baumann attended Paul J. Hagerty High School in Oviedo, Florida.[1] He was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the fourth round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.[2] He signed for $747,500, forgoing his commitment to play college baseball at the University of Central Florida.[3][4]
Baumann made his professional debut with the Augusta GreenJackets, appearing in one game. Baumann returned to Augusta for the 2024 season, starting 18 games and going 6-5 with a 3.18 ERA and 89 strikeouts over 99 innings.[5] He played in one game for the Rome Braves at the end of the season, throwing seven scoreless innings.[6] Baumann was named to Atlanta's Spring Breakout roster during 2025 spring training.[7]

Lucas Braun
Lucas Braun (born August 26, 2001) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Atlanta Braves organization.
Braun attended Palisades Charter High School in Los Angeles and played college baseball at the University of California, San Diego and California State University, Northridge.[8] He was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the sixth round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.[9][10]
Braun signed with the Braves for $347,500,[11] and made his professional debut with the Augusta GreenJackets.[12] In 2023, he pitched for Augusta and the Rome Braves.[13] He began the 2024 season with Rome before being promoted to the Mississippi Braves.[14][15]

Blake Burkhalter
Blake Jackson Burkhalter (born September 19, 2000) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Atlanta Braves organization.
Burkhalter attended Northview High School in Dothan, Alabama.[16] He played college baseball at Auburn University. He served as the team's closer in 2022, accumulating 16 saves and a 3.69 ERA over thirty games.[17] After the season, he was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the second round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.[18][19]
Burkhalter made four appearances between the Florida Complex League Braves and the Augusta GreenJackets in 2022. He underwent Tommy John surgery and missed the whole 2023 season.[20] Burkhalter returned to play in 2024, opening the season playing two games with the Complex League Braves and spending the rest of the season with the Rome Braves.[21] Over 16 starts between the two teams, Burkhalter went 3-4 with a 3.00 ERA and 69 strikeouts over 72 innings.[22] He was assigned to the Columbus Clingstones to open the 2025 season.[23]

Isaiah Drake
Isaiah Keon Drake (born July 15, 2005) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Atlanta Braves organization.
Drake attended North Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Georgia.[24] He was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the fifth round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.[25]
Drake signed with the Braves and made his professional debut with the Florida Complex League Braves. In 2024, he participated in the first Spring Breakout prospect showcase.[26]
His brother, Kenyan Drake, played in the National Football League (NFL).[27]

Didier Fuentes
Didier Nicolas Fuentes (born June 17, 2005) is a Colombian professional baseball pitcher in the Atlanta Braves organization.
Fuentes signed with the Atlanta Braves as an international free agent in January 2022.[28] He made his professional debut that season with the Dominican Summer League Braves. He pitched 2023 and 2024 with the Augusta GreenJackets.
Fuentes started 2025 with the Rome Emperors before being promoted to the Mississippi Braves.[29]

Domingo Gonzalez
Domingo Jose Gonzalez (born September 27, 1999) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB).
On December 7, 2022, Gonzalez was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 draft.[30][31]
Gonzalez split the 2024 campaign between the Double–A Mississippi Braves and Triple–A Gwinnett Stripers. In 45 appearances split between the two affiliates, he compiled a 4–3 record and 2.91 ERA with 83 strikeouts and 9 saves across 52+2⁄3 innings pitched. On November 2, 2024, the Braves added Gonzalez to their 40-man roster to prevent him from reaching minor league free agency.[32]
Gonzalez was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett to begin the 2025 season.[33]

Hayden Harris
Hayden Lee Harris (born March 2, 1999) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Atlanta Braves organization.
Harris attended Grovetown High School in Grovetown, Georgia and played college baseball at Georgia Southern University.[34] He signed with the Atlanta Braves as an undrafted free agent in 2022.[35][36]
Harris played his professional debut with the Florida Complex League Braves. He pitched 2023 with the Augusta GreenJackets, Rome Braves and Mississippi Braves.[37][38] He started 2024 with Mississippi before being promoted to the Gwinnett Stripers.[39] Harris was invited to spring training before the 2024 regular season began, and assigned to minor league camp in February.[40] In September, Harris was assigned to the Peoria Javelinas of the Arizona Fall League.[41]

Jhancarlos Lara
Jhancarlos Lara (born January 15, 2003) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Atlanta Braves organization.
On June 7, 2021, Lara signed with the Atlanta Braves as an international free agent. He made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Braves.
Lara split the 2023 campaign between the Single-A Augusta GreenJackets and the High-A Rome Braves, accumulating a 4–8 record and 4.09 ERA with 114 strikeouts across 20 appearances.[42]
Lara started the 2024 campaign with Rome before being promoted to the Mississippi Braves. In 20 combined appearances, Lara compiled a 2–4 record and 3.92 ERA with 94 strikeouts across 82+2⁄3 innings of work.[43]
To begin the 2025 season, Lara was assigned to the Double-A Columbus Clingstones. On May 13, 2025, he was promoted to the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers.[44]

Rolddy Muñoz
Rolddy Muñoz (born April 14, 2000) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB).
On June 14, 2019, Muñoz signed with the Atlanta Braves as an international free agent. He made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Braves. Muñoz did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[45]
Muñoz returned to action in 2021 with the rookie-level Florida Complex League Braves and Single-A Augusta GreenJackets. In 16 appearances split between the two affiliates, he worked to a 4-2 record and 5.40 ERA with 48 strikeouts over 35 innings of work.[46] Muñoz split the 2022 campaign between Augusta and the High-A Rome Braves, accumulating a 1-3 record and 5.90 ERA with 79 strikeouts across 32 appearances.[47]
Muñoz returned to Rome in 2023, making 20 appearances (7 starts) and logging a 4-1 record and 2.29 ERA with 60 strikeouts across 59 innings pitched.[48] The 2024 season was split between the Double-A Mississippi Braves and Rome. In 38 combined appearances, Muñoz compiled a 3-3 record and 4.24 ERA with 75 strikeouts and 4 saves across 51 innings of work.[49]
On November 18, 2024, the Braves added Muñoz to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.[50] Muñoz was optioned to the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers to begin the 2025 season.[51]
Muñoz's identical twin brother, Roddery Muñoz, is also a professional baseball player, and is currently a member of the St. Louis Cardinals.[52]

Jose Perdomo
Jose Gabriel Perdomo (born September 20, 2006) is a Venezuelan professional baseball shortstop in the Atlanta Braves organization.
Considered one of the top international prospects in the 2024 class, Perdomo signed with the Atlanta Braves for $5 million as an international free agent in January 2024.[53][54][55] He made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Braves.[56] During the 2024 season, Perdomo appeared in just eight games, slashing .250/.318/.250, while dealing with a hamstring injury.[57]

Luke Sinnard
Luke Alexander Sinnard (born October 21, 2002) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Atlanta Braves organization.
Sinnard attended Beech Senior High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee, where he played baseball and was teammates with Chase Burns.[58] He went unselected in the 2021 Major League Baseball draft, and enrolled at Western Kentucky University to play college baseball.[59] After his freshman season, he transferred to Indiana University. For Indiana in 2023, Sinnard started 16 games and went 6-3 with a 4.27 ERA and 114 strikeouts over 86+1⁄3 innings.[60][61] His 114 strikeouts set the Indiana record for single-season strikeouts.[62] After the season, he underwent Tommy John surgery, forcing him to miss the entirety of the 2024 season.[63] Despite this, he was still selected by the Atlanta Braves in the third round of the 2024 Major League Baseball draft.[64][65]
Sinnard was assigned to the Augusta GreenJackets to make his professional debut and to open the 2025 season.[66][67]

Luke Waddell
Luke Thomas Waddell (born July 13, 1998) is an American professional baseball shortstop in the Atlanta Braves organization.
Waddell was born in Loveland, Ohio, on July 13, 1998, to parents Eric and Lisa. His older brother is Reid.[68] Luke Waddell attended Loveland High School. In 2023, he was inducted into the Loveland High School Sports Hall of Fame.[69][70] In his high school athletic career, Waddell set several school records in baseball and American football,[69] and as a high school freshman in 2013, was a member of the Loveland Tigers team that won Ohio's Division II state championship in football against Glenville High School, which featured future National Football League player Marshon Lattimore.[71] While a high school student, Waddell also played on the Midland Redskins travel baseball team for three years.[72] In 2017, his final year with the team, Waddell won a Connie Mack World Series championship.[73][74] After graduating from high school in 2017, Waddell joined the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets baseball team.[75] Following the 2018 NCAA Division I baseball season, he played for the Yarmouth–Dennis Red Sox of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[76][77] His 2019 season with Yarmouth–Dennis was cut short by his selection to the USA Baseball collegiate national team,[78][79][80] which played in Japan and Taiwan.[81] Waddell was named Georgia Tech's first solo captain since 1991 during the 2020 NCAA Division I baseball season,[82] which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[83] During the 2021 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets baseball season, Waddell was honored with an All-Atlantic Coast Conference first team selection.[84]
Waddell was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 32nd round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft, but returned to Georgia Tech.[72] He was eligible for,[81][85] but not chosen in the 2020 draft,[86][87] and instead focused on completing his bachelor's degree in business administration.[88][68][82] He was subsequently selected by the Atlanta Braves in the fifth round of the 2021 draft,[88][68][89] and accepted a signing bonus of $247,500,[90][91][92] which was approximately $85,000 under slot.[93][90] Waddell was assigned to the Rome Braves, where he played 21 games, hitting .304/.372/.580.[94] In September 2021, Waddell was promoted to the Mississippi Braves,[95][96] and became the first Braves' draft pick of the 2021 class to reach the Double-A level.[97][98][99] After the 2021 Double-A South season ended, the Braves sent Waddell to the Arizona Fall League, where he played for the Peoria Javelinas.[100] Waddell began the 2022 season with the Mississippi Braves.[101][102][103] Waddell was invited to spring training before the 2023 season.[104][105] In March, he was assigned to minor league camp.[106] Waddell was subsequently named to the M-Braves 2023 Opening Day roster.[107] On April 14, Waddell was promoted to the Gwinnett Stripers.[108] Waddell received another invitation to spring training before the 2024 regular season began.[109] He remained with Gwinnett for the rest of the year, playing in 111 games, hitting for a .235 batting average while leading the Stripers outright in triples and tying for the team lead in runs batted in.[110] In 2025, Waddell was invited to spring training for the third consecutive season.[111][112] He began the 2025 regular season with Gwinnett.[113][114]
