Dijon Duenas (born June 9, 1992), known mononymously as Dijon, is an American singer, songwriter, producer and actor from Baltimore, Maryland.[3]
Early life
Dijon Duenas was born in Germany on June 9, 1992, to a family in the American military stationed abroad. He is the son of a Guamanian father and a mother of mixed black and white heritage.[4] His parents met in the military and during his childhood he moved several times back and forth between the United States and Germany. He never stayed in the same town for more than a couple years.[4] In the U.S., he has lived in California, Hawaii, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland and Washington.[5] He attended Centennial High School in Ellicott City, Maryland and graduated from high school while living in Germany.

Dijon's music career began as one half of the duo, Abhi//Dijon, which he formed with a high school friend, Abhirath Raju, while he was studying literature[5] at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.[3] Between 2012 and 2016, the duo released two EPs and one compilation. The duo released their last EP, Montana, in 2016.[4] Dijon moved from Ellicott City, Maryland to Los Angeles in the summer of 2016.[4] The next year, he collaborated with the band Brockhampton, providing additional vocals for the song "Summer" from their album Saturation II. Duenas released his first solo EP, Sci Fi 1, in 2019.[6] In April 2020, Dijon co-wrote and co-produced the song "Pink Diamond" with musician Charli XCX for her album How I'm Feeling Now. His second EP, How Do You Feel About Getting Married?, released in May 2020.[7] Duenas said he was influenced by Little Feat, Burial, and Lucinda Williams.[8] In December 2020, Duenas released a song titled "The Stranger", featuring John C. Reilly, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Becky and the Birds.[9]
Duenas' debut album Absolutely was released on November 5, 2021.[10] Following the release of the album, Dijon released a short film on December 22, directed by Jack Karaszewski. He made his television debut on The Tonight Show on January 27, 2022, performing the song "Big Mike's".[11] On June 26, 2022, Dijon's song "Many Times" was featured on former U.S. president Barack Obama's 2022 summer playlist.[12]
Dijon is credited as a songwriter on Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign's track "Stars", which samples Dijon's 2019 single, "Good Luck".[13]
In 2025, Dijon featured on the song "Day One" from Bon Iver's album Sable, Fable.[14] That July, he produced and co-wrote several songs on Justin Bieber's album Swag. Dijon additionally had a guest feature on the song "Devotion". His sophomore album, Baby, was released on August 15th, 2025.

Tours
Dijon opened for Bon Iver during the band's Spring 2022 tour, performing at the Mesa Amphitheatre in Mesa, Arizona and the Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Greenway in Austin, Texas.[15]
In June 2023, Dijon toured with Boygenius, Clairo, and Bartees Strange for the Re:SET Concert Series across several U.S. cities.[16]
