Dipankar Talukdar

Dipankar Talukdar is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and a former state minister of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs.^[1][2] He is a former member of Jatiya Sangsad representing Rangamati.^[3] He is a member Bangladesh Awami League Central executive committee and President of Bangladesh Awami League Rangamati hill district.

Early life

Talukdar was born on 12 December 1952.^[4]

Career

Talukdar was elected to parliament from Rangamati as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate.^[5]

Following the fall of the Sheikh Hasina led Awami League government, Talukdar was arrested from Dhaka in February 2025 by the Detective Branch.^[6]
