Edinburgh Peak is the highest mountain in Gough Island, South Atlantic Ocean.^[1]

This 902 m (2,959 ft)^[1] high peak is the highest point of a ridge that runs in a roughly NW/SE direction in the central area of Gough Island.^[2] Slightly lower Expedition Peak is located close to it.^[3] The island is part of the Tristan da Cunha Archipelago, an outlying territory of the United Kingdom.^[4] The mountain is an extinct volcano which erupted about 2,400 years ago.^[5][6]
