Eighth College students are primarily housed in the new Theatre District Living & Learning Neighborhood (TDLLN),[3] which is the southernmost residential area on campus, just south of Revelle College.[4] The dormitories at TDLLN are some of the tallest on the West Coast, up to 21 stories tall, providing 2000 beds and a net increase of 300 parking spaces.[5][6] The community was set to open by fall 2023, but due to construction delays, only one building was finished in time.[7][8]
