Elada Braa

Elada Braa (Sinhala: එළද බ්‍රා) is a 2025 Sri Lankan Sinhalese comedy film directed by Pujitha Gunathilaka and co-produced by Sujitha Peiris and Dedunu Silva for Heavens Gate Films Productions.^[1][2] The film stars Pubudu Chathuranga and Nilukshi Amanda Silva in lead roles, where Rodney Warnakula, Priyantha Seneviratne, Sriyantha Mendis and Sarath Kothalawala made supportive roles.^[3]

Production

This is the second cinema direction by Pujitha Senaratne Gunathilaka who previously directed the 2020 mystery film Sheleena. He also made the story of the film.^[4] Sujitha Peiris and Dedunu Silva are the producers of the film..^[5] Assistant director is Udaya Prasanna, second assistant directors are Madushan Perera and Aravinda Ratnayake. Assistant production done by Samitha Peiris and Prasanna Silva, where cinematography and lighting done by Niranga Sanjeewa. Sineth Malaka Pathirana contributed in many aspects such as editing, color grading, sound design and special sound effects.^[3][6]

Make up done by Tharaka Adhikari, art direction by Vindya Priyankara and stunt direction by Sumudu Amalka and still photography done by Hasitha Nilupul. Choreography co-handled by Gayan Srimal and Tharanga Harsha Kumara. Chief lighting designed by Saman Mayakaduwa and drone camera handled by Sampath Chathuranga.^[3][5]

Onish De Mel and Dileepa Liyanage are the music directors where lyrics penned by Kelum Srimal, Chamika Weerasinghe, Ruchira Friso and Diwan Themis. Songs composed by Ravi Royster, Keshan Perera and Onish De Mel, whereas Ravi Royster, Keshan Perera, Ranga Herath, Sadeepa Isuruni and Chandi Suddathchari made background vocals.^[3][5]
