Adult film career

Willis began her adult film career in 2017, going on to star in over 700 films.[1] Willis's first two scenes for GirlsDoPorn were released in 2018.[4] The company was later shut down after several of the owners and employees were found liable for fraud amid an FBI investigation of sex trafficking. Willis told XBIZ, "I knew from the start that I was being lied to about the scenes" and "It just didn't matter to me, I wanted to do porn regardless."[5]

Willis moved to Las Vegas in early 2018, later moving to Los Angeles.[4] She was named Penthouse Pet of the Month in May 2019.[1] In May 2020, she starred in her first double penetration scene for The Insatiable Emily Willis, produced by Jules Jordan.[6]

Mainstream and other work

In April 2022, Willis joined the cast of Eddie Alcazar's thriller film Divinity.[7][8] Jacob Oller, writing for Paste, criticized the film generally and stated that "an extended sex scene with porn star Emily Willis is exhaustingly dull",[9] while Nadir Samara, writing for Screen Rant, praised the film, stating that performances by Willis, along with those of Karrueche Tran, Bella Thorne, and Moisés Arias, "are what give Divinity the tone that sets it apart from anything else you will see this year".[10]

In 2023, Willis starred in the music video for the Grammy-nominated single "Hive Mind" by American heavy metal band Slipknot.[3]

On October 12, 2021, the actress filed a $5M defamation lawsuit against fellow pornographic actresses Gianna Dior, Adria Rae, and 10 other unnamed defendants over Twitter posts that they had made.[11] The lawsuit was dropped in 2022.[12]

Personal life

On February 5, 2024, Willis was admitted to a medical facility for critical care in Thousand Oaks, California.[13] In April, her family announced that she was awake after a two-month coma following a cardiac arrest.[3][12]

In January 2025, her family filed a lawsuit for negligence against Summit Malibu, a rehab center in Los Angeles, where Willis was found unconscious for an undetermined amount of time following a brief stay. According to the lawsuit, the lack of oxygen led to irreversible and debilitating brain damage.[14]
