The Escondido Formation is a geologic formation in Texas and Coahuila, Mexico. It preserves fossils dating back to the Late Cretaceous period.[2][3][4] These fossils include ammonites,[5] dyrosaurs like Sabinosuchus,[6][7] crustaceans and corals.[8]
