This was the first annual event in the Final Battle chronology, with the first taking place in 2002.

Storylines

Final Battle featured thirteen different professional wrestling matches that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. Wrestlers were portrayed as either villains or heroes in the scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match involving.^[1][2]

The shows main event featured American Dragon vs. Low Ki vs. Samoa Joe vs. Steve Corino in a #1 Contendership Trophy Four Way Match.

Background

It is was also the first ever Final Battle event in Ring of Honor history.
