Francesc Garrido (born 1969) is a Spanish film, television and stage actor from Catalonia.
Biography
Francesc Garrido was born in 1969 in Barcelona.[1] He trained his acting chops at the Barcelona's Institut del Teatre, further advancing his training in the performing arts at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.[2]
He has featured in Catalan- and Spanish-language films such as Smoking Room, The Sea Inside,[3] Alatriste (as Martín Saldaña),[4] Theresa: The Body of Christ (as Salcedo),[5] 25 Carat (as Abel),[6] Falling Star (as Minister Serrano)[7] L'adopció ,[8] and Barcelona 1714 .[9]
He has starred in leading television roles as Juan Elías, a mysterious man with amnesia in Sé quién eres,[1][10] and as inspector Yago Costa in La sala.[3] Other main television credits include performances in Los hombres de Paco (as Portillo),[11] Gran Reserva (as Pablo Cortázar, the illegitimate first born son of Don Vicente Cortázar),[12] The Time in Between (as comisario Claudio Vázquez, a sort of protector of the protagonist),[13] Isabel (as Juan Rodríguez de Fonseca),[14][3] Three Days of Christmas (as Mateo),[15] Jaguar (as Marsé),[16] and The Gypsy Bride (as Buendía).[17]
