Early life

Dunker attended Lena-Winslow High School in Lena, Illinois. He committed to University of Iowa.^[1][2]

College career

After redshirting his first year in 2021, Dunker played in 12 games with one start in 2022.^[3][4] As a sophomore in 2023, he became a starter and started all 13 games at right tackle.^[5] As a junior in 2024, he started 11 games, missing two due to injury. Dunker returned to Iowa for his senior year in 2025.^[6][7]
