Plot

Ghatikachalam is a psychological drama based on the turbulent life of a young man, who is played by Nikhil Devadula, suffering from serious mental illness. The narrative takes center stage to capture the emotional and psychological disturbance he encounters, particularly the strained relationship with his father, played by ETV Prabhakar. As the lead character wrestles with his personal demons, the movie delves into the influence of mental illness on the patient as well as the family. Against real-life inspired scenarios, Ghatikachalam sheds light on the usually concealed woes of adolescents, reaffirming the need to get to know them, show empathy, and request assistance in the event of emotional trauma.[2]
