Girard is a town in Burke County, Georgia, United States. The population was 184 in 2020. It is part of the Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area.

History
Girard was incorporated in 1902.[4]
Geography
Girard is located at 33°2′28″N 81°42′40″W (33.040994, -81.711108).[5]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.3 km2), of which 3.2 square miles (8.2 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km2), or 1.20%, is water.[6]
Girard is located near the South Carolina state line on State Highway 23.
Demographics
At the 2010 census, there were 156 people living in the town. In 2020, its population grew to 184.
