Gorgin (Persian: گرگين)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Gorgin Rural District of Korani District, Bijar County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4]

The village is populated by Azerbaijanis.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 272 in 72 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 247 people in 74 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 231 people in 81 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
