Gunma University of Health and Welfare (群馬医療福祉大学, Gunma Iryō Fukushi Daigaku) is a private university in Maebashi, Gunma, Japan. The school was established in 2002 as the Gunma University of Social Welfare (群馬社会福祉大学, Gunma shakai fukushi daigaku) and was renamed to its present name in 2010. The predecessor of the school was founded in 1449.[1](in Japanese) The school has a secondary campus located in Fujioka, Gunma
