Taxonomy

This species was described as Mynoglenes contorta in 1979 by A.D Blest from a male specimen.^[1] It was most recently revised in 2002, in which the female was described.^[2] The holotype is stored in the New Zealand Arthropod Collection.^[1]

Description

The female is recorded at 6.38mm in length.^[2]

Distribution

This species is only known from Nelson, New Zealand.^[1][2]

Conservation status

Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Not Threatened".^[3]
