The Hazara Students Federation (HSF), (Urdu: هزاره اسٹوڈنٹ فیڈریشن) is an organization in Pakistan for students from Hazara People.[2][3] It was founded in 1970.
History
In 1970 Hazara students enrolled in Government Science College, Quetta formed an organization called Hazara Students Organization (HSO) whose first President was Mr. Shabbir Hussain (the younger brother of Late Professor Nazir Hussain). In November 1972, its name was changed from Hazara Students Organization to Hazara Students Federation (HSF) by the majority opinion of the members. In 1973 Mr. Abdul Ali Asghari Hazara was elected the President of Hazara Federation.

At the time when the Hazara people in Pakistan was facing socio-political, economic and educational challenges, HSF emerged as a platform to empower Hazara Students, encouraging them to focus on education and political awareness. Through organized efforts, the federation aimed to create a politically conscious and educated youth base that could advocate for the rights and needs of the people.

Through commitment to political, educational, and cultural engagement, the HSF has helped shape generations of Hazaras who are more aware of their rights and responsibilities as active citizens.
