Hemihoplitidae is an extinct family of ammonoid cephalopods belonging to the superfamily Ancyloceratoidea. Fossils of species within this family have been found in the Cretaceous rocks of southeastern France, Mexico, Slovakia, South Africa and Trinidad and Tobago.[1][2]
