The Human Rights Code (French: Code des droits de la personne) is an act of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba enshrining human rights in provincial law.

Provisions
The code includes prohibitions on discrimination based on age, gender, gender expression, religion, sexual orientation and disability.[1][2]
The code prohibits discrimination in employment, services and housing.[3]
The code was amended in November 2021 to improve the ability of the commission to respond to complaints with timely reviews.[4]
Application
In 2020, the Government of Manitoba was found to be in breach of the code for not providing healthcare for an Anishinaabe teenager.[5]
