Founded
IDX Channel, originally named MNC Business, was the first business news channel in Indonesia. MNC Business debuted as a 24-hour trial broadcast on September 29, 2010. A few days later, the channel was officially launched on August 10, 2010.[4]
The channel can be viewed on Indovision on channel 100 and OkeVision on channel 92, as well as through free live streaming on okezone.tv. MNC CEO Hary Tanoesoedibjo stated, "The launch of MNC Business stems from the country's reliance on foreign news channels like CNN International for business and economics, which has not yet been accommodated by domestic pay-per-view television."
This presents an opportunity for MNC to become the first business and economic news channel in Indonesia. Hary also emphasized that with the launch of this channel, certain programs will be synergized with other Media Nusantara Citra media outlets.[4]

The editor-in-chief at that time was Arief Suditomo who also served as editor-in-chief of RCTI and SUN TV until 2014.[2]
Starting August 10, 2015, MNC Business changed its name and logo to iBCM Channel (shorterner for Indonesia Business and Capital Market Channel), in collaboration with the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The launch coincided with the 38th anniversary of the reactivation of the Indonesian capital market.[5]
The iBCM Channel was planned to broadcast comprehensive information about the capital market to the public for 10 hours non-stop every day. MNC Media News Director Arya Sinulingga explained that the iBCM Channel content was compiled by MNC Media through iNews, It will then be broadcast on pay-TV providers owned by MNC Vision Networks. The channel is also planned to be broadcast in other countries.[6]
