Critical reception

Deborah Evans Price, of Billboard magazine reviewed the song favorably calling it "well crafted" and "sweetly sentimental". Price goes on to say that Trevino turns in a "warm, thoughtful performance that gives the song a light, dreamy quality."^[2]
